Composite samplers are not new but the concept of the Glacier Sampler is allowing accurate samples to be obtained and preserved over long time periods without being reliant on mains power or ice. The Glacier composite sampler combines a new active temperature control system with the mobility, small size and light weight of a portable sampler, yet it allows sample collection over extended periods of time.
