Sampling well water accurately can be a difficult process to conduct accurately since purging can disturb the balance in the aquifer, bu the use of submerged pumps such as a peristaltic pump By abstracting much smaller samples, there is less stress and hence movement of water in the acquifer. The quanity of water being measured at the surface will be less than that entering the acquifer. but with the use of techniques such as
